RE:"what reforms would you propose for the real estate industry in your area" The biggest dangers to the RE business as we know it are... 1. Possible direct entry by banks. ie. putting brokerage offices in their lobbies. The biggie. 2. Increasing number of discount brokerages. 3. The tech savy replacing the non-tech savy. Monetary wise...higher rates would send it all reeling. As would adding back capital gains taxes on sale of a house.
