I agree totally, except that I think the option of just remaining silent through those two words is a perfectly reasonable option, not coercive at all. Teens in American suffer incredible coercion from peer pressure as to the music they listen to, the clothes they wear, the jewlelry they wear or don't wear, etc., that in the realm of coercions this is beyond de minimus.
