Remember my comment from about 3 months ago. The dreaded 0.25$ royalty on Firewire is going to kill it. Apple greed is costing them the ability to drive the market. They should have given it away. USB would then have had one less reason to exist.

USB on the Go is another version of USB (backward compatible) that if released would eliminate one of the most significant advantages of Firewire (the requirement of a PC)
