Not having a lot of experience with nasty bear markets, I'm reading a fair amount about them here on SI. One nasty scenario says capitulation happens when nobody wants to own anything, and that the length of a bear is about 1/3 the length of its bull leg. And if this is the other side of the bull that some say began in 1982, then we still have about another 3 years of grinding down to reasonable valuations.
