Talk about fighting the last war... Terrorists aren't going to try to hijack planes like they did on 9-11, again. They know that even if they tried the passengers will understand they have nothing to lose by attacking them and the crew knows this, too, and won't turn over the plane to them. So crashing a plane into a building isn't on the table anymore. If all they want to do is destroy a plane in flight, they don't need to hijack it to do so. The whole pilots/guns thing is a joke!

You can bet that the terrorists are spending all of their time trying to figure out how to attack us in ways that we don't expect and not worrying about trying to repeat something that they know won't work again.
