We are going to have big problem if the VP is dirty much more then Clinton messing around in the oval office. Just think of the endless hearings to not let us forget about it. Talk about weighing on public perception. Bad, real bad. If I keep I might have to join Horsegirl in wondering about our way of life. It would seem that the only way out is to say that the rules were wrong at time and everyone was just playing the game to the fullest. Frankly, pointing fingers will get us nowhere. We need action to restore public trust. Quickly too, or the disconnect better wall street and the main street will turn out to be wrong with the market predicting something worse then just correcting the overvaluation situation.

other musings,

The daily dose of crooks running companies and all is bad for the republican’s doctrine. I bet you will be able to point to this summer as sea change to how companies are run which will go along with 9/11 as the start of a new era in both public and corporate governance. Touch stone like events if you will.
