I think AWE/VS would be the best solution for the industry as a whole. Except for Cingular.

I'm in complete agreement.

It would remove Voicestream's current low-end pricing model and eventually kill Cingular.

Of course, for that reason, I doubt that Cingular would let it happen. They absolutely need access to New York.....can you imagine how much a combined AWE/VSTR would charge Cingular for roaming??? Cingular wouldnt have any other options for access. Many of the smaller independent TDMA operators are transitioning to CDMA instead of GSM (US Cellular and Western Wireless).
