Ok Steve, instead of being a wishy washer anti-Bush antagonist, why not tell us whether you support the legislation or not?

I've explained my reasoning twice, and stated what position I hold. If anyone is rationalizing or dodging, it's you.

Would I be as forgiving if it was a Democrat in the White House? Probably not, because the most recent Democrat in the White House didn't have the character you could give the benefit of the doubt to at this stage.

Have you ever been involved in leading a team of people Steve? Two people who do the same wrong thing may be treated differently if one has built up a strong background of trust first, then just made a mistake. After determining Clinton was a dirt-bag sexual predator who perjured himself and lied to the nation, he never deserved the benefit of the doubt in my eyes because of his character. So no, I wouldn't be as forgiving.

It's as simple as that.
