Would I be as forgiving if it was a Democrat in the White House? Probably not, because the most recent Democrat in the White House didn't have the character you could give the benefit of the doubt to at this stage.

Well here's what you wrote to your representative:

"This foolish position during a time of war is an obvious pander to special interest groups who live and breath in order to remove our second amendment gun owning rights."

And:

"This reckless and dangerous vote by you calls into question not only your integrity as my elected representative, but your judgement as my elected official."

Yet when Bush takes the exact same position, all you can do is be an apologist giving the benefit of the doubt. Why not give your congressman the benefit of the doubt? Why not hold Bush to the same standards?

Your position seems to call in to question your integrity.
