these Briefing.com guys are such farking bullish morons. would they be talking about how the data were un-reliable if claims came in BELOW expectations at 375k. UFB <<Claims 403K - slightly worse than consensus : Jobless Claims rose 16K to 403K vs the 390K consensus - as we noted, this report was for a holiday week which can sometimes produce additional volatility, and today's increase probably does not indicate an end to the recent downward trend.>> btw, the requisite "worried trader" picture made its appearance above the fold on the front page of the Boston Globe today. should be good for a rally after the gap down.
