Had we been able to counter the North Vietnamese support for Pol Pot, we might have prevented his rise to power. The bombing, as well as the invasion a year later was an attack on North Vietnam, which was stockpiling Russian weapons and supplies in that area for offensives against AMERICAN forces in South Vietnam. Failing to destroy those stockpiles would have gone far beyond malfeasance. The failure to include adequate support of the anti-communist regime in Cambodia was a concession to the influence of the treasonous American left.

The left has engaged in a barrage of historical revisionism about Cambodia ever since. They have avoided their responsibility for the Cambodian genocide with an outrageous arrogance. Their crimes against America since have been far more prominent. But the crown jewel of their nefarious accomplishments is, and always will be, the Pol Pot genocide...
