I agree with Charles DeGaul's position that leaving the Southeast Asians to their fate would have proved the point better than a war of any length. Lyndon Johnson was a disaster in ways to numerous to list. Nixon's task was to save American lives in Vietnam, and turn the Cold War around. He succeeded brilliantly. The left hated him for it, and used their influence to bring him down. We still own them for that crime, and a whole lot of subsequent ones. They WILL pay...
