The phony baloney 3-1 "death ratio" which liberals love to quote, is a blatant attempt to overlook the real cost of terrorism, and provides ongoing incitement for terrorists to even the score. The Palestinian leadership wants to destroy Israel. If you expect the Israeli's to be more flexible on this point, then you are a very silly person. The Israelis have negotiated, or tried to negotiate peace with the Arabs living in "Palestine" on many occasions. Each time they have been rewarded by terrorism. In December, the Saudis made a peace proposal, and 24 hours later the Palestinians blew up 100 people attending a Passover celebration. You should consider extracting your head from it's current repose. The only human shield stories that have been verified are that the Palestinian fighters use women and children for cover as a regular part of their operations, and in fact are using them to deliver explosives in Israeli shopping malls and restaurants.
