McCain is an exceptional man. During the 1980's, a friend of mine (working as a photographer) was captured in Afghanistan by the Soviets. I was living in Arizona at the time, and after I contacted Senator McCain and he took swift action to help secure the photographers release. Too bad he didn't win the nomination in 2000. The US could have avoid the dim-witted debates and farcical excuse for an election.
