The 3:1 ratio is phoney because it does not take into consideration the effects of nail bombs that cause a 10:1 ratio of lives_ruined:dead. Nail bombs are intended specifically to maim civilians, and the deaths they cause are not the terrorists objective. The real horror is for the ones who don't die. Your remarks about Israel's intent are idiotic. The Arabs attacked Israel within hours of the departure of the British in 1948, and ever since the Israelis have been struggling just to be left alone. The Arabs have always been the aggressors, and the Palestinian leadership would rather keep their people in hell than accept a Jewish State. Should the Israelis offer to go back to Auschwitz to satisfy Hamas and liberals like yourself?
