Crazy Market - Total Gambling. Kind of fun (or at least challenging) if you have some "mad" money to throw around. But make no mistake, it has become a total game no matter what anyone says.

Rallies and declines are started by the totally unpredictable "Buy" and "Sell" programs, then everybody else jumps on or off. One minute everrybody is scared to death by massive outflows of mutual funds and major support is being broken, then a buy program kicks in...or vice versa.

People all have their own little system to try to figure it out but there are no small guys that can predict anything, based on anything at this point. This Market is not necessarily trading off fundamentals, economic news, geo-political news, T/A, or anything I can find other than fear and bargain hunting. The VIX is an interesting figure perhaps at the moment, but any stock can be ramped up or down quickly as the Power Players starts the move and then the small guy jumps on, often too late.
