Their economy grew close to 8% last year and China's inflation was considerably higher than here. We're not only importing deflationary pressures, but we're exporting our inflation. We pump in dollars here and they end up there.

What China and Russia both need more than anything is hard currency they can do biz with the rest of the world, they are happy to store our dollars.
