Staff,
I don't really know how much of a "discussion" I want to have regarding longs vs shorts. My real statement was dealing with the observation of WHY are all the Y2K issues (as a group) still moving higher? Sure DDIM is not in here but it also shouldn't be until the consolidation is completed. Others are now moving higher. Keane has been spectacular along with ALYD and CRYSF. Soon DDIM will move higher also.
Your point of the insiders selling is valid. Remember though that SOROS still has substantially more shares than what he started with and Martin in my opinion had to sell some with the boatload that he has.
Regardless, this group show no collective signs of pullback or distribution and continues to move higher whether it is SMART money or not that is driving it.
The reason I continue to trade DDIM is because I made a ton of money on it over the past year (you know I did and read all my posts) and after trading out at 31+ which I posted, I wanted to be back in for the next leg higher. My average cost on re-entry is $23 which I posted a few weeks ago. I'm a little early and most likely will buy some more under $23 but I'll continue to let you know what I'm doing if that helps alleviate your continued pain!
