They have to go back to defined benefit pension plans. Remember those from the olden days, and how the hot shots running with junk bonds from Drexel would loot overfunded pension plans? This option thing has become a real, real bad joke... McCain is a straight shooter, and he is correct on this issue, and the rest of those idiots on the hill ought to get smart and listen to him. FYI, I mentioned Miller beer either here or on Jim's 13 thread, and since South African Breweries has bought it, the old owners, Big Mo, (MO) have to come up with answer to it's underfunded pension plan, to the tune of $155 million... millerbrewing.com
