Hi Steven,

Yes I do believe a portion of ADP's revenues is from stock transaction processing. The down trend now makes sense to me. Based on this oberservation.. I guess the share price's drop was long overdue. I the price only seemed to drop steeply these few months and there has been little interest in the market much longer than just that.
I guess they could always fall back to their other business lines (ie payroll/hr services) until things come back.

I don't know if there are any comparable companies that dominate in this area. I know there is a company called Paychex, but they seemed to be focused on smaller companies.
