I agree completely! Battery life is one of the biggest issues with wearables today. I have been using a battery from a company called ElectroVaya - electrovaya.com - and it appears to be the best solution that I can find today. These are still pricey batteries, however they are fairly compact and very powerful.

A friend just sent me a link the other day (where did I get this link?) that indicates there are other disruptive technologies emerging in this area.

I have found that the ElectroVaya solution works well with the wearables that I have been using - both the Xybernaut and some other experimental models - and can provide a good day of operation.
