Well,It Looks Like The Wheels Are Being Set In Motion Here.

But six months is still a long time and many things can happen once the words turn from intention to preparation.

This is the part I referred to as " calling the bluff ".

Now the gloves will start coming off and we can expect an escalation of tensions by the divisions being created in the two camps there.

This is also where an escalation in attacks can be expected anywhere in the world by those sympathetic to Iraq.

I am not as optimistic regarding the acceptance of foreign troops there.This is not France in the early forties.

Those men surrendering were untrained pawns in the middle of the desert with no air cover.I'm sure they were " dismissed " from service in a fairly brutal way afterward to show as an example.

Yes, the WMD's.I guess this is ONE way to find out if they indeed well armed with any.I would prefer the alternative method being negotiated by the UN,but the patient one has set the stage and I too assume we are going to see a high diving act sooner than later.Tickets on sale this fall.<s-g>

And yes, it will be interesting to see how the pie is to be sliced up if things go as planned.No doubt all who assist will be expecting their " fair " share.

Now the Wild Card..........Israel.
