Alan when you say bearishness, I assume you are talking about sentiment on the threads. In terms of indicators bearishness is non existant. As soon as we start any sort of rally, the put call ratio drops to ridiculous levels and the VIX immediately pulls back. I agree that there are many people looking for a crash due to the head and shoulders pattern on the S and P, but I just do not see why anyone would buy long here.
