How did you injure your hand?

I cut it in a freak beer making acident.<G>
I was cleaning out one of those 5-gallon water jugs, it slipped, I caught it the same time it TAPPED the ground.

It just barely hit the ground with not much force at all, but it literally BLEW UP!
It was unreal. The neck of the bottle kicked into my wrist and blew a triangular hole in it.

It cut tendons, artery, nerves, the works. Blood EVERYWHERE.
I grabbed the nearest thing I could find to wrap around it which turned out to be a filthy towel I had been cleaning with.
I ran out towards the front to the car with my hand up in the air and ALL my neighbors had heard me yell and were looking.

I was only wearing an old pair of shorts and the button had popped off. I'm running to the car, stopped for a second and my shorts fell to my ankles! There I am, blood all over me, hand up in the air and naked as a jaybird. NOT a good day<GGG>

It healed, but was never right again. I had given up on it, but I found a hot-shot hand surgeon who seemed to think he could fix it. So far, so good.
