One big difference is that Clinton's happened while he was in office

Whitewater, which is what triggered the investigation, occurred before Clinton was in the WH. The intense investigation and the feeding frenzy surrounding it was what brought to light the rest of it. Who knows what a similarly intense investigation of Bush might reveal.

and has been cleared

Bill, I'm not really all that interested in the specifics of any of these investigations. I've never paid much attention to any of them. I didn't even bother much with Watergate. It tires and depresses me to get into such things too much. The only reason I got into this discussion was that people keep saying that Bush was "exonerated" or "cleared" of the that old charge. I really don't want to read a lot about this because I really don't care enough to expend the energy. I don't want to read all the charges and counter charges and opinions but I can handle a paragraph or two on point. If someone would point me to just where Bush was "cleared," I'd appreciate it.
