First, the file was closed on Clinton's watch. And second, the most compelling evidence clearing Bush is the market data itself which was not manipulated by any appointee of his father.... Not to beat the horse... The memo that declared the lack of sufficient evidence was Aug of '91. The memo of action was mar '92. It doesn't matter much to me, I like neither Clinton or Bush. I think the real issue of concern over Bush's business past, considering he was elected in part for his business acumen, is the demonstration of his business competence or lack of it. And that's not a big issue at this point in his career.
