Wrong again, pop-up. The main cause of the deficit was a huge tax cut coupled with collapsing stock prices. The latter slowed the economy further in a dynamic process. In "pop-up language": less money (from the tax cut) + less money from receipts = a big money hole(if you know what I mean...).<G>
