Removing God establishes nothing except that we won't "force" people to say under God by peer pressure, nor expose them to their peers if they do not say it, now will we coerce little children to say it, in a place where they are required to be by the government. We would be enforcing atheism if we required them to swear "Under no god because one does not exist"- it should be obvious that removing the phrase under God will result in no more harm to people saying the pledge now, than it did to people before the 1950's. Unless you think THEY were establishing atheism?
