I thought the auditors might be the ones' that consulted the companies on how to set up the information that is given to an auditor.

Don't you think that as the auditors are doing the audits, they might see that something is not right with the picture and advise the company? Would an auditor really want to be responsible then for a companies misinformation?

Look what happened to Anderson etc. Are you saying that it is totally Enron, WCOMs fault then?

I do not know much about this, just trying to learn so your answers would help me understand a bit more.
