just to put a fine point on it, you (plural) who doubted the veracity of Ascend officials, in the conference call yesterday the following statement was made: "We currently have over 550,000 ports of the MAX and MAX TNT 56Kbps installed in ISPs worldwide. " Now more than a half million ports didn't get installed overnight. TNT ports were being installed prior to 7/15 but not on a volume basis. And note the word "worldwide". While some network companies were complaining about sales dropping in Japan for Ascend they were increasing nicely - despite what some of you projected. What applies to COMS, CSCO and others may not necessarily apply to another company - if the company says they're doing oK you'd better base your judgments on those remarks rather than your own biases or preconceived notions. You may not like the company but enough individuals and funds do "like" the company for what it does - produce results. Dee Jay Dee Jay
