It's just a guess, but I've got two guesses about the CRM mid-market:

1) The company that dominates it may not even be in existence today, much less on our radar screens; or

2) There may be no company that dominates it. Due to the nature of customer needs, it might become a highly fragmented market with no single company dominating it. Remember that not all tornados foster Gorillas.

I will be very surprised if one of the leading CRM companies today will move so successfully from the top-tier market into the mid-tier market that it ends up dominating it.
