What happened to "buyer beware"? I think we may be going too far demonizing CEO's, CFO's. We felt their greed was a good thing when it coincided with our interests, now that things have broken bad, their greed is the fault of our problems. Is Bernie Ebbers a bad guy? He took nothing and built an empire, within the then current mores. The world changes, the mores change, and we retroactively crucify the guy for his behavior. Who knows what's right and wrong, it seems to change with the wind. There is a lot of crap that is hard to defend, but I don't remember a lot of folks screaming for blood when the market was going up. John
