LTCM had exposure of over 200 billion in OPM's (mostly WS fat cats) with structural influences on several trillion USD of derivatives. Big difference betwen WCOM and Enron blow up which was anticipated for months to a 2 week notification of systemic risk to the derivative markets

If LTCM would have blown up the same regulation would be instituted as now and we would not witness the bubble that is the problem with AG
