paul mcculley of pimco was talking about greenspin's meeting with congress this coming tuesday on tv earlier this week. he said greenspin should tell congress he is going to hold short term rates here no matter what. so i took that to mean that greenspan would try to goose the markets with that kind of talk. that is what mcculley wants him to do. mcculley is worried about deflation at this moment.
