in all seriousness, does it even matter? i mean, do normal people actually sit around timing their computers to a fraction of a second? my sweetie has decided she's ready to try and switch since she has observed that (a) my iBook battery lasts longer than the time it takes a latte at Starbucks to go cold and (b) it doesn't throw off so much heat that it leaves rashes on my lap...none of which can be said for her Dell laptop. plus she wants to run her iPod, which she absolutely loves, from her own laptop. and she wants iPhoto. and iMovie. nobody i know spends their day timing photoshop filters.
