Bill, The new combined HP/CPQ has to bit the bullet and get rid of their intermediaries completely, or see continued losses to dell Agreed. However, I would find it extremely difficult for Compaq to offer a BTO solution. Perhaps the combined entity would ship to various store fronts barebones systems?
