Have you been reading about the head of the new "taskforce" assigned by Bush to distract the nation while he does nothing about the crisis in corporate integrity? Turns out the guy is a crook, a former Board of Directors member at Providian, a company that paid huge fines for fleecing consumers.

Bush seems to find that the only qualification for his appointments is that the person be a pathological liar or a criminal.

Sheesh, what a mess he's created.
