Certainly not taking it personally Ron, and I can even share some of your anger over what has been said. But that was months ago, in the heat of the moment, under fire from every direction. Might be time to let it go.
Believe me, I've been tempted to comment to Doug many times, but there is always about 20 others doing it first, and never with class. That is what has held me back, rather than an acceptance of style.
Who knows the true story here, but some go to an astonishing level to shut him up. If the gold is there, who gives a dung heap what he says because it just won't matter. Perhaps a few months more will put it to rest, but I doubt it. Raises red flags for me.
BTW, I work with about 6 fire fighters and have a great respect for them. They probably saved our factory in '95.
