Hi!!

RE: IBM's server and PC sales are expected to decline 10% this year, to $10.7 billion, because of weak demand. Dell doesn't seem to have that problem.

Sad to say...I know some of those that are the result of this continuing problem...I live in the middle of IBM territory up here and there are layoffs...Interestingly though, some of the IBM folks realize and openly admit that it's futile attempting to steal market share from DELL...As Michael has said many times before: The more simplified technology becomes the easier it will be for DELL...Couple this with all their alliances and past relationships...Well, it makes a whole new type of leverage...Interesting to see DELL leverage where once DELL had but desktops against an armada of hardware...The times they are a changin'...

Best, Kemble
