I dont know details of TrezDebt, but 98-01 refunding was big
most refundings were of 30-yr and 10-yr debts
Clinton swapped to shorterm debt, that we know
but the amounts were probably large in our terms
and small in total Treasury terms

Clinton did everything he could to EARN a fed surplus
strong dollar to lure foreigners
stock rallies to lead to capgain tax income
swap LT to ST debt to cut costs
rape & pillage the SocSec TrustFund
dismantle the military and security apparatus
now we pay the price of Clinton's misguided thinking

my guess is the USGovt has considerable shorterm exposure
just like 75% of American companies who swapped

I expect the annual Trez deficit to exceed $1000 trillion soon
perpare for the worst, expect some positive surprises
just dont hope for many

for those who think the Dems are better, or GOP is better, you are utter fools
they are much the same, incompetent loud noisy gongs
the Dems raid the Trez to give to the poor and needy
the GOP raids the Trez to give to the wealthy

THE SAD MESSAGE TOTALLY MISSED IS THAT OUR US GOVT RAIDS THE TREASURY AND MAKES US ALLLLLLL POORER
we have allowed them to steal from taxpayers
how can victims of theft be prosperous
the 1990 decade was an illusion
if so much prosperity was evident, if so much wealth was created, how did it disappear so quickly ???
