Thanks for the article Jon. The attempt to delay LNP by the big carriers is understandable, because they are afraid of competition. However they have no excuse. It shows how corrupt the FCC is that they keep extending the deadline. "The large wireless carriers oppose local-number portability as an unnecessary expense..." There is no extra expanse. How do I create extra expense for Verizon when I cancel my Verizon service, walk into another carriers' store and tell them activate me a service using my original phone number? Is there a link where LNP is explained in detail? Maybe I am missing something. Thanks
