What was I thinking? Of course the SEC was enforcing the law during the '90's.

I'd forgotten about the 13 year old pinnacle of evil, Jonathan Lebed, that the SEC so courageously pursued. Real proof of the intestinal fortitude that the SEC leadership had then, a sharp contrast to Harvey Pitt.

I'm sure glad they did too! Think how bad things would really be now, if they hadn't. There might be brokerages that don't tell the truth, or outright lies on accounting statements.

Truly, I thank the SEC of the '90's, for taking such a strong stand against the hugely powerful 13 year old at his Mom's computer. They made the markets safe for all of us, by making him an example.
