To what do you refer? Texas has no personal income tax and as a result of the income redistribution scheme known as "Robin Hood" the property taxes of many of those well-heeled contributors have doubled in the last 5 years.

As to your comments about Texas poverty, a couple of comments. First, Texas ranks second only to Arkansas in most of those categories. Your man Clinton must have taken the "key" from Bush when he solved all of their problems. Second, a majority of the problems to which you refer are a result of the border counties whereby Texas has become a welfare state for Mexico.

As to your reference to the "lone star" in our state flag, it refers to the time when Texas was an independent country and we didn't have to put up with assholes from other parts of the country, thank you very much. And yes, I take offense to your reference to Texas as "hell on earth."
