Hi Pat: Be careful of this one and don't ask me--I'm in at 11 and
haven't had anything but a major gas attack ever since. Yes, I agree
with your "carry-out techie" as I've heard that from many others too
and the stock looks tempting when it falls under 7--all that cash and
assets make it look very cheap. Still, it's very speculative at this
point--many more knowledgeable investors think Novell has had its day
and NT is running away with it. I don't think it's quite that bad--a
lot depends on the new CEO and the restructurings--they'll result in
another loss for the next quarter so I think that'll take the cash on
hand down some more. BTW--I sold HWP at 61 just last Friday and it's
68 with a target of 80 and I also sold ITT at 62 and it's up another
five to over 68 today and is splitting 3 for one--so much for my gut
instincts and that's fair warning--I sold those and stayed long on
NOVL. Maybe I'm a contrarian signal.

:)
