At the 1998 lows we got weeks of press and a half a dozen or so bear magazines covers (where the bear was the star, not women's hormones -g-)

These contrary indicators haven't added up to more than ST countertrend rallies, you can watch those yippie the markets up 300 points on ms-nbc.com for st sell signals and when the traders are tearing up their tickets and throwing their hands up or covering their face it's a st buy signal -g-

the dow looks like it is in wave 4 right now from the post july 4 rally high, so some more weakness tomorrow or in the next couple of days should yield a bottom that would at least retract some of that move down.
