About 4 years ago, I started talking about what it would look like if this thing unwound. Of course, everyone thought I was crazy because the market would never do what it's doing now. The Fed wouldn't allow it, etc., because of all the retirement funds.
So, I figured these guys would use sector rotation as a way of keeping the "buy" side alive, that it would rotate into the weakest sector as the other stuff came down. But no. Even in the '73-'74 bear, the drillers were good to own, and commodity-related stuff rose.
Talk about a bonfire of the vanities.
