Hi Jay, re

Message 17735968

My opinion: the trend would reverse, if the dwindling trust in US$ would undergo some miraculous change of course. For example, if no more corporate bonds would be degraded to junk status, if from now on to the end of the season, all the companies would preannounce better-than-expected numbers and if these numbers together would drag the SnP PE to 15.

On a different subject: two (uncorrelated...?) facts: a) HK has lately been exposed to deflationary winds and b) HK$ is pegged to US$. Are you then (sort of...) preannouncing / seeing in the streets / hearing on local news, what may be coming down the road for us?
