Deer Hunter: Interesting. The more things change the more they remain the same, eh? My WAG is we'll eventually see 3 BIG telecom players here domestically. The first will be on the East Coast and run from Canada to Florida. Using similar boundaries the second will be in the mid-west, and finally the third will cover the west coast. Just a WAG, of course. Anyway, the chairmans suggestion is interesting. Gee...I wonder, if it happened, how this would set with the Unions (who dominate the ILEC world). WCOM is a non-union "shop." THAT should lead to very interesting times, eh? Heh! John~
