"First, they are not my statistics."
First, I never said that it is _your_ statistics. But the interpretation of data is certainly yours. And it is wrong, as you just have demonstrated again: "Does it give you a hint as to what's going on, yes."
"Second, the study tracks repeat home sales and home mortgage refinance, so I doubt that "desert lands" are a significant portion of the report." Huh? Why the heck it makes any difference? Bubble money are not going into sleepy country, which never will appreciate fast enough. They flow into urban areas around high-tech, where the real estate has grown way out of proportion. That's what Jim is trying to tell you, but you prefer to hide your head in the sand of government statistics.
This "hint" is 500 - 1000% out of reality. If it gives you a comfort, it is your problem.
"Learn how to write a civil post. And look at the report before you make idiotic statements."
What was so insulting in my original post? That it uncovered your inability to understand statistics, which appears to be true, and you are embarrassed with this? No need to vent your frustration on me.
