Copper isn't great skiing, but has an outstanding collection of citizens, one of whom recently circumnavigated the world in a balloon.

I lived in Aspen in 1972, but it almost unrecognizable these days. The Roaring Fork Valley below Aspen was just farms 30 years ago.
